How to Write a Compounded Prescription
Our pharmacists are happy to discuss formulations and answer any questions.
Prescription Guidelines
- Prescriptions should begin with the phrase “Compounded Medication.”
- Include the generic name of the active ingredient(s), strength, dosage form, quantity, and directions for use.
- Prescriptions can be transmitted to the pharmacy via ePrescribing (including Blend Scripts), fax, or phone authorization to compound.
Now Offering Blend Scripts: An Easier Way to Prescribe
