TriMix is a compounded injectable medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). It typically combines three medications—alprostadil, papaverine, and phentolamine—that work together to relax smooth muscle and increase blood flow to the penis, helping produce an erection.
TriMix is injected directly into the side of the penis using a very small needle and is generally used shortly before sexual activity. Because the medication is compounded, the strength can be customized based on the patient’s response and prescriber’s directions.
